Explanation of Responses:

1. These restricted stock units were omitted from the reporting person's original Form 3 filed on January 3, 2024.

2. The restricted stock units vest in three installments, with 333,330 units vesting on each of February 22, 2024 and February 22, 2025 and 333,340 units vesting on February 22, 2026, contingent on the reporting person's continued service until the vesting date, subject to certain exceptions.

3. The restricted stock units represent a right to receive American Depositary Shares representing the number of ordinary shares of Emeren Group Ltd set forth above.
